Born in '86

Last Friday I was invited by Unlimited PR to join M.A.C. to the launch of the first pop-up store in the Benelux ! So I went to the Woluwe Shopping Center, and there it was: a very small shop packed with lots of make-up !!

Together with the opening of this store, the “Hey Sailor” collection was introduced. This limited summer edition is inspired by the glam of vintage pin-up girls. The collection contains heavy eyeshadow colors such as green and blue, bright lipsticks including red, a tear/sweat/humidity/waterproof mascara, and a lot of other things we all want to have ! Note the wonderfull packaging, every girl wants to have such lovely packed make-up in her make-up bag !

This pop-up store is open until the beginning of August, afterwards there will open a permanent store in September.

Each and every year I am having difficulties to find a nice, unique bikini that also fits me well. It is very important for me that my bikini feels like a second skin, that I can move and jump around without my boobs falling out of my top. And on top I also want to look fashionable off course! And that combination is just not easy to find. At least not for me

But maybe this year I found something special that complies to both conditions, Mara Hoffman , that’s her name. Yep, she is an amazing designer, and I reproach myself that I had not discovered her sooner.

The last couple of days were so busy that I had not found the time to update my blog. Sorry for that guys.

I don’t know how you feel, but I’m longing for the sun so so much ! It seems like spring doesn’t exist this year ! This rainy cold weather has to stop right now ! However, in order to get some springfeelings I bought some yellow stuff. Actually the DKNY fragrance was a gift from my sweet mommy She has looked up the sun already last week in Marbeilla, came back with a tanned skin, and brought the sun with her in the form of a yellow apple !

The neon bag is from SILIS , the scarf I bought at H&M, and the nailpolish is from Essence .

Thanks to Jackie K Fashion Agency I discovered a brand new Belgian label called “The Talk Of The Town”. Their first collection AW 12/13 will be available from July 2012. Their website is at the moment still under construction but will be online soon.

In the meanwhile I can show you a few pictures of the collection. I like the simplicity of it. Although it is also very feminine and young at the same time. I’m in love for sure. How about you ?

How do you feel about tattoos, do you have one (ore more) or do you want one ? Maybe you want one, but not for life? Maybe in that case a fake tattoo can make you happy.

Or are you a person that says: “If you want a tattoo, you go for a real one and all that other fake sh*t is for wannabes!”

Maybe a fake tattoo can give you the change to try out some designs before you actually let the tattoo immortalize with your body. Want to hear your opinion because soon I will do a post about this all.

First of all, how was your Easter ? Did Easter Bunny passed your house and did you get a lot of chocolat eggs ? Hope he did because who can resist all that sweet chocolat stuff ?! At least I can’t !

A couple of days ago I bought this flower blouse at H&M. I love to wear blouses, they are so comfortable and easy to combine. But this flower bombed blouse is something you love or you hate. In the first place I had to get used to the flowerprint, I thought it wouldn’t be nice on me but now I love it. I just needed a little more time to accept it into my closet I think I’m already feeling I will wear it a lot, I think it will be one of my favorites this spring/summer.

In the weekend from March 9th till 11th I went to Praha with a bunch of ladies to celebrate a friends bachelorette party. We left Friday evening and came back Sunday evening. So we had 2 nights to party and 2 days to hang out in the city of Praha. Excellent, that was the plan, but after the first night partying, I had to deal with a terrible hangover so I missed the shopping-part ! Afterwards when seeing a picture from the Marni collection in the local H&M store one of the girls took, I really freaked out because there was sooo much Marni stuff left and I had to miss that! Anyway, after a couple of hours I felt better and could join the rest of the group for a wonderful afternoon walk along the beautiful places in the heart of the city. One of the girls “Dannii De Burlett” who is a fantastic and very talented photographer, took the pictures during the weekend. Now I would love to share some of these memories with you guys.

The bachelorette got married last weekend and we had a hell of a party ! I will never forget the great moments I had with her and all the other ladies during our trip to Praha!

Last Saturday my boyfriend bought me these wonderful Steve Madden shoes. I always thought that walking with these shoes was just not possible for me, but after 5 times walking around in the store I was convinced that a little bit of practise was all I need to control these stilts. Though I didn’t had much time to practise because that same night I was dancing on these heels on a wedding party, it took me 6 hours before I took them off to continue my dancing on my bare foot. And in my case 6 hours are eternity. So thank you Steve Madden to create these sexy heels, they really make me feel like a woman and for some strange reason I can walk, even dance with these shoes.

Ok, this is not fashion related but I do like to read interior – books and magazines. I totally love vintage furniture combined with modern things.

Also new in are these mascara and concealer from the brand called “NEE”. Orignally it is an Italien brand and especially used by professional make up artists.

After a trip to Ikea, I finally have my own little make up mirror ! So useful ! And I paid only € 4,99 for it !
